The "s" word

The "s" word. Its not what you think; I am talking about sin. Sometimes we think that we can do what we please whenever we want to do it and expect God to bless it. If there is anything to learn in life, it is one simple thing, God truely rewards obedience to His Law. Lets take a moment and consider the sin in our life and and ask God to help us get rid of it.

Real Love

There is this well know pastor that you may not have heard about. His name is Rob Bell and he is the pastor of Mars Hill church in Washington. He makes videos about bible messages. I want you to watch it and pray that God makes this message clear.

In Mark 8:1, Jesus tells us the importance of meeting the needs of others.

1During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said,
2"I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat.
3If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance."
4His disciples answered, "But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?"
5"How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked."Seven," they replied.
6He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people, and they did so.
7They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them.
8The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

Where's Waldo

Sorry the blog hasn't been posted in awhile. Just wanted to remind everyone that Shiloh will be teaching tomorrow and Saturday is our Cinco de Mayo Festival. Remember that there will be a basketball and soccer tournament. Try to hang with Rolando if you can, I heard he is pretty good at basketball, maybe even better than Michael Jordan (whatever).

I was also wondering who all reads this blog. If you read this blog, leave a comment by clicking on the comment link below. When it ask you for your name, make sure to put your real name. Also, tell me what you want to see on this blog. By next week, we are going to start posting some videos on different subjects.

Take care
